Our History

Having trained in Glasgow and Edinburgh and after amassing 20 years of architectural experience in both public and private sectors, David took the decision to establish the practice in 2005 and in the 18 years since, has successfully delivered varied design solutions throughout Scotland and the North of England for many satisfied and indeed repeat clients. Ranging from; modest and large bespoke extensions, complete refurbishments, basement wines cellars, kitchens and interiors, small holiday homes, large bespoke Passive dwelling houses, agricultural buildings and even wind turbine installations, literally no project is too small or too large. The practice embraces sustainable design and technologies where desired and having well established links with the full range of industry professionals, can develop multi-disciplinary designs which incorporate minimalist to fully off-grid solutions.

For the last five years in tandem with the above, David has provided consultancy Architectural and Project Management services for Macdonald Hotels & Resorts on their sites throughout the UK and during this time has also strengthened his commercial; Interior Design, Space Planning and Project Management skills.
